I love this color! In the sunlight it is a beautiful eggplant. I have been wanting it for awhile now but did not want to spend a little over $8 for it at my local beauty store. However, I lucked out! Beauty Brands sent me a coupon for $5.00 off any of their products! I must say I am not disappointed in the least! This is one of those finds that I can't stop looking at! No buyers remorse here! I did not want to change it too much with stamping, glitter, etc. so I just did something a bit special on my ring fingers. Very simple and, have I mentioned, I seriously love how it turned out! :)
What do you think of this color? What is your favorite polish you have?

French tip nails are just the bomb to me! It goes with everything and just looks so clean!
My son plays t-ball and is on the Pirates team so decided I would do something in those colors for his game. He picked out the peace stamp that I did in black and then I added some yellow bling to it. I have not perfected freehand work yet so I used the scotch tape technique for the tips from one of my favorite bloggers Erika at Chloe's Nails.
Simplicity at its best!
Thank you for looking!

I fell in love with these nails that I saw on Pinterest from Marie Claire's webpage and wanted to try and recreate. My photography skills sure did not make as awesome of an impact as in the Marie Claire's photo but I did love my nails! My clean up job was also non-existant as this was one of the first manis I did and at the time I never thought I would share the picture I took with anyone. Since that time (uh, maybe a whole 2 weeks) I have read a lot of articles and posts on proper ways to take care of your nails and I am improving on the clean up. And BTW, Seche Vite top coat sure makes any polish job shine!
I think I need that ring! Huh? That rocks! And the clutch too!
I got the Julep nail polish through their Julep Maven club where they mail you your first months polishes for $.01 ($19.99/mo. thereafter)!! I tried it for a month, got three polishes and a nail file. The polish peeled horribly on me and I cancelled the subscription.
Thanks for looking! Have a dreamy day!

This was my 1st attempt applying a holographic polish. I used a basecoat and I don't think I will do that again. IMO it did dull the holo effect and this polish could have been even MORE GORGEOUS! The manufacturer suggests using their nail file that shines the nails prior to application to get the best holo effect and use their Brilliant Due top coat. I did not buy the file (or top coat) so on my next attempt I will try a file I have to shine the nail, then apply the polish with no top coat and see how that turns out.
I found this polish at Ulta and it does not run cheap. I paid the high price of $15.50 but used the $3.50 off $10 coupon.

It almost got into 3 digits this weekend and it is only April! So I was ready for some summer color and how hot is this??
And to back up a minute...I have surfed the net to learn about different types of nail products, how to do nail art, etc. There are so many blogs that have given me so much inspiration and excellent advice! I promise to mention them often and give credit where it is due!
Most of my nail polishes I try not to spend over $2.00 on. The Ulta color was originally $7.50 but I found it in the clearance section for $1.99 and used their $3.50 off of $10 coupon to bring that price down even more! I walked out with 5 new polishes for just a little over $7.00!
I do not have Photoshop installed on my computer yet so I did not put my name on the photos. Figured if someone did find the mani special enough to repost that would just be a huge compliment! I also took these pictures on my phone! I know I have major room for growth! AND I LOVE IT!
